Being over 30 years in operation, Attitudes In Dance offers a high quality experience for your dancer. We offer classes from pre school to adult in many styles, including ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, hiphop, highland and more!
Founder & Director
Teacher Lesley
Lesley is the director and founder of Attitudes In Dance. A teacher since 1987, Lesley has taught dance in London, Toronto and Kitchener areas. As a young dancer, she competed throughout Canada, United States and Scotland. Lesley’s training and performance experience includes ballet, jazz, highland, lyrical and modern dance.
Lesley received her Honours BA in dance from the University of Waterloo. She is certified in a variety of dance styles through the British Association of Teachers of Dancing and the Canadian Dance Teachers Association and is a member of ScotDance Canada.

Tiffany M.
Tiffany joined the Attitudes teaching team in 2010. Her styles include jazz, ballet, tap, hip hop, lyrical, musical theatre and song & dance. Tiffany’s dance training began at the age of 2, moving to a competitive dance level at the age of 5. During her 12 years as a competitive dancer, she won numerous overall awards. Along with competing, Tiffany also performed with the Canadian Ballet Youth Ensemble and studied music and singing with the Royal Conservatory of Music.
Tiffany studied dance thru the Royal Academy of Dance and completed her tap, ballet and jazz teacher certifications thru the British Theatre Dance Association. After Graduating from Sheridan College, Her dance experiences continued. They included teaching the recreational dance program at the University of Guelph and hip hop program at Langs Farm Youth and Teen Centre before joining the Attitudes Family.
Teacher Taylor R.
Taylor grew up dancing at Attitudes In Dance starting at the age of 4. By 8 years old she became a competitive dancer and was trained in a variety of styles including jazz, lyrical, contemporary, tap, hiphop, ballet, pointe and highland. Throughout her time as a
competitive dancer, she was honoured to have won countless overalls and scholarships.
Taylor continued her dance career at Wilfred Laurier University where she was a member and choreographer for the KAOS competitive dance team. She graduated from Laurier in
2024 with a bachelors of criminology with minors in psychology and global justice.

Emily S.
At the age of 7, Emily began dance classes with Attitudes. Her dance studies include jazz, ballet, tap, lyrical and hip hop. She became interested in the competitive side of dance and became a member of the Attitudes Dance Team in 2022. Competing in both team and solo streams, Emily’s dance experience continued to grow.
Emily became interested in the teaching of dance. She soon joined the Attitudes Teaching Team as teaching assistant, summer program assistant and now moving toward teacher. With her positive and encouraging teaching style, Emily brings energy and a love of movement to every class. Emily remains an active member of the Attitudes Competitive Team and is finishing her final year at Eastwood Collegiate with studies in the Dance Program
Teacher Kayla P.
Kayla has grown up with Attitudes In Dance. Taking her first dance class when she was 4 and moving thru the levels as student, competitor, to then to teacher and choreographer. She has trained and competed in various dance styles including jazz, ballet, lyrical, modern and hip hop. While competing with the Attitudes Competitive Team, Kayla attended and graduated from the Eastwood Collegiate Dance program.
Since 2011, Kayla has been teaching dance to all ages in various styles. Kayla graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University with a Degree in Biology & Minor in Psychology. Kayla, then moved onto becoming a choreographer for the competitive team as well being part of our recreational family.

Emily P.
Emily is a dedicated member of the Attitudes in Dance family with extensive training in jazz, ballet, lyrical, hip hop & tap. She began her dance training with Attitudes at the age of 7. Emily joined the Attitudes Competitive Team at the age of 8 working with various choreographers and competing in all dance styles. She is an accomplished competitive dancer with numerous awards for her solo work. Emily moved into her first teaching position at Attitudes as a Summer Dance Program Instructor. This gave her the opportunity to work with some of our youngest dancers. With her love for sharing dance knowledge, Emily has moved from accomplished dancer into her role as a Dance Instructor with Attitudes. Emily’s ability as teacher & choreographer was recognized by her high school. There, she was given the opportunity to choreograph and lead her school’s Dance Team into Ontario’s annual High School competitive events. Emily is continuing her own studies at The University of Waterloo, Honours Arts in Psychology.
